Facets of Truth

     ...to expect mystery, only a partial unveiling of the Divine, in the true Christ, is one of the first principles which we have to bear in mind when we consider who and what He was. For an Incarnation, the presence of the Divine in the human in all fulness, is a form of life utterly new to us and to the whole universe. Angels bend their lofty minds to contemplate that mystery with wonder and worship; it behoves us to draw near with reverent footsteps and adoring hearts. To those who not only admit the substantial historical accuracy of the Holy Scriptures, but who also acknowledge them to contain the record of God's revelation to man, the proofs of Christ's Divinity will be plentiful. Let us briefly recapitulate them. 1. The declarations of Scripture, unless in- Scriptural tended to deceive us, are in harmony with this Proofs- doctrine. , What does Christ say about Himself ?
